06500 Menton, France
In June 2015, my sister and I tried to reach France from Italy by train. At Menton, right after the border, police forced us to leave the train. They didn’t give us the time to take our luggage. I subsequently tried to call the Italian and the French railway companies to see if our bags had been found, but unfortunately this didn’t lead to anything. We lost two bags containing very important documents: My birth certificate, both my mother’s and my father’s passports, the high school diploma’s of myself and of my sister, my diploma in engineering from Benghazi University, as well as photographs of my family.
